About the roleWe’re pushing the frontier of agentic intelligence in biomedicine, and we’re looking for a Member of Technical Staff (AI Research) to join our core research team. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of agentic AI, foundation models, and reasoning, partnering closely with academic collaborators and contributing to open-source and peer-recognized research.
You’ll help push the frontier of AI-native biology by designing, training, and evaluating new agent architectures that operate over real scientific tools, data, and workflows.
What You’ll Work OnConduct original research on test time scaling, fine tuning, RL, agent eval, continuous learning, and novel applications of agents in biomedicine.
Partner with academic research groups and internal scientists to translate research ideas into working prototypes.
Lead and contribute to open-source projects, benchmarks, and research artifacts used by the broader community.
Publish and present research at top-tier venues, while translating advances into production systems.
Hands‑on experience with agent systems, reinforcement learning,
Ability to move quickly from idea → experiment → insight in a fast‑moving research environment.
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across research and engineering teams.
Prior open‑source contributions or research publications.
Experience working on biological, biomedical, or scientific ML problems
