Pay Rate: $43-48/hour
Overview:
In this role, you will formulate, process, and analyze lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for nucleic acid delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize production methods, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain high-quality lab documentation in support of cutting-edge genetic reprogramming programs.

Monday-Friday, Standard Working Hours
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, process, and characterize lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for nucleic acid delivery across diverse biological models, including preclinical systems.
- Collaborate with Epigenetic Editing and Product teams to meet specific LNP requirements for reprogramming interventions at various production scales.
- Develop, refine, and implement robust protocols for LNP formulation, downstream purification, and analytical characterization using advanced techniques.
- Manage future formulation needs by coordinating material procurement, maintaining well-equipped lab spaces, and supporting new program launches.
- Analyze complex experimental data to inform key decisions, while meticulously documenting protocols and results in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- MS in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of industry experience with formulating LNPs with diverse lipid components for nucleic acid delivery and purification techniques (including dialysis, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), ultracentrifugation, and sterile filtration).
- Proficiency in LNP analysis using DLS, LC-UV, LC-CAD, CGE, fragment analyzers, Osmolality, MALS, ELISA, and fluorescence-based 96-well plate assays.
