A healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That’s what makes us Roche. Advances in AI, data, and computational sciences are transforming drug discovery and development.
Roche’s Research and Early Development organisations at Genentech (gRED) and Pharma (pRED) have demonstrated how these technologies accelerate R&D, leveraging data and novel computational models to drive impact. Seamless data sharing and access to models across gRED and pRED are essential to maximising these opportunities. The Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CoE) is a strategic, unified group whose goal is to harness this transformative power of data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist our scientists in delivering more innovative and transformative medicines for patients worldwide.
We seek a creative and highly accomplished scientist to develop and execute Genentech/Roche’s Foundational Data and Models strategy in Computational Neuroscience, helping to deliver new treatments for neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS and multiple sclerosis, in the department of Computational Biology & Medicine within the Roche Computational Sciences Center of Excellence (CS-CoE).
Working within and extending Roche’s existing data ecosystems to accelerate our Neuroscience portfolio. Developing strategy to effectively mine large data and drive science using LLMs, advanced automation and AI agents. Analysis and integration of human genetic, single-cell atlases, perturbation and other data types to derive novel insights into the pathobiology of neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases. Nomination of new entries to Neuroscience department Target Assessment Portfolio and identification of new biomarkers for existing therapeutic programs.
Serving as computational lead on pipeline programs, supporting target validation, mechanism of action, safety and biomarker studies.
