Position: Scientist III (Immunology Discovery, Barreira Lab)
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Scientist III (Immunology Discovery, Barreira Lab) for a contract assignment with one of our premier Pharmaceutical clients in South San Francisco, CA .

Responsibilities :

• Seeking a creative, self-motived, and collaborative Contractor/Scientist 3 to join the Department of Immunology Discovery at the firm.
• Contribute to groundbreaking research focusing on understanding the role of intracellular pathways in immune cell phenotype, migration to tissues and inflammation.
• Will implement and apply molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology to elucidate disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets. The role involves close collaborations with multidisciplinary teams across the firm to achieve research objectives.

Required Skills :

• PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline
• Isolating immune cells for downstream analysis.
• Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation from human blood, in vitro immunological assays and multi-dimensional flow cytometry.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills and creative problem-solving are required
• Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions.

Preferred Skills :

• PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline
• Isolating immune cells for downstream analysis.
