The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Scientist 3 – Immunology Discovery for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in South San Francisco, CA.
Job Title: Scientist 3 – Immunology Discovery
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Pay Rate: $48.89–$83.23/hr
Duration: 3.5 Months
Conduct hands‑on laboratory research to investigate intracellular pathways involved in immune cell phenotype, tissue migration, and inflammation.
Apply molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology approaches to characterize disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets.
Isolate immune cells from human blood for downstream experimental analysis.
Perform in vitro immunological assays and multidimensional flow cytometry experiments.
Support multidisciplinary research programs focused on immunology and therapeutic target discovery.
PhD or equivalent degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
Primary immune cell isolation from human blood.
Cellular and molecular immunology techniques.
In vitro immunological assays.
Multidimensional flow cytometry.
Molecular biology and biochemical laboratory techniques.
Cellular pathway and immune phenotype analysis.
Cell engineering, including protein over-expression and CRISPR‑mediated knockout techniques.
Rodent tissue collection, including colon, spleen, lymph nodes, and bone marrow.
Single‑cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‑seq) data analysis.
Bulk RNA sequencing (RNA‑seq) data analysis.
