Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply model-based strategies (translational PK/PD, mechanistic models, population PK/PD, clinical trial simulations) to support quantitative decision-making (dose selection, clinical trial design, go/no-go).
  • Represent QP2 on cardiometabolic discovery, early clinical development, and late clinical development teams using quantitative approaches.
  • Partner with functional colleagues, external vendors, and strategic partners to build aligned, model-informed approaches supporting discovery, development, and regulatory decisions.
  • Collaborate across disciplines on study design, protocol development, execution, data interpretation, reporting, and communication.
  • Maintain understanding of global regulatory expectations and contribute to regulatory documents/submissions.
  • Provide scientific input to pharmacometrics colleagues on modeling strategy, analyses, interpretation, and reporting.
Qualifications (Required):
  • Ph.D. (4+ years), PharmD (6+ years), or MS (8+ years) in increasing-responsibility roles in drug development, regulatory, or academia.
  • Background in biopharmaceutics/pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacometics or related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience performing population PK and PK/PD analyses using R, Matlab, Phoenix, NONMEM, Monolix, or similar tools.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and ability to collaborate across disciplines and scope complex problems.
  • Knowledge of modeling complex therapeutics, mechanistic modeling/QSP.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of cardiometabolic clinical drug development programs.
  • Advanced skills in mathematical problem-solving, data analysis, experimental design, and statistics.
  • Understanding of biopharmaceutical and ADME properties of small molecules/biologics.
