Associate Scientist, Post Doc Fellow- Ophthalmology

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ophthalmology focusing on retinal disease mechanisms, tissue repair, and pathological remodeling.

Investigating molecular and cellular pathways involved in ocular diseases using in vitro and in vivo rodent models to support therapeutic discovery.

• Designing and executing mechanistic studies
• Analyzing complex multi-omics datasets
• Contributing to scientific publications and presentations within a collaborative retinal biology environment

• PhD in Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or related field, with anticipated completion by spring 2027
• Proven research excellence, strong publication record, expertise in molecular biology, cellular techniques, and animal models of retinal disease
• Excellent analytical, experimental design, and communication skills

• Experience in data analysis, disease models, immunoassays, and ophthalmology

Focus on vision-threatening ocular disorders, involving advanced biological and imaging approaches, with a 10% travel expectation.

South San Francisco; role involves research in ophthalmic biology relevant to drug discovery.
