Associateultimatelyactsasthefaceofourcompanybydeliveringoutstandingcustomerserviceandbuildingstrongrelationships.
Youwillberesponsibleforsellingourfineproductstorestaurantsandcaterers,hotelsandretailestablishmentsbyperformingthefollowingduties:
The Peninsula(or"Bay Area Peninsula ").Theregionspansfromsouthof San Franciscotonorthof Palo Alto /Menlo Park.
Majorcitiesandtownsinclude Daly City ,San Bruno,Millbrae,Burlingame,San Mateo,Belmont,San Carlos,and Redwood
City.
- Producesalesrevenuethroughthedevelopmentandgrowthofnewsalesandbyincreasingsaleswithexistingaccounts.
- Compilelistsofprospectivecustomersforuseassalesleads,basedoninformationfromnetworking,newspapers,business directories,industry ads,trade shows,Internet Websites,andothersources.
- Travelthroughoutassignedterritoryand/orcallonregularandprospectivecustomerstosecureorders.
- Displayordemonstrateproductusingsamplesorcatalog,andemphasizesaleablefeatures.
- Estimatedateofdeliverytocustomer,basedonknowledgeofownfirm'sproductionanddeliveryschedules.
- Preparereportsofbusinesstransactionsandkeepupdatedexpenseaccounts.
- Workwithinsidesalesrepresentativestokeepaccountactivitiesandliteratureuptodate.
- Trackstocklevels.
- Enternewcustomerdataandothersalesdataforcurrentcustomersintocomputerdatabase.
- Developandmaintainrelationshipswithpurchasingcontacts.
- Onetotwoyearsofrelevantexperienceinfoodishighlydesired.
- Fosterapositiveandinnovativeatmospherewhichencouragespeopletocommittothetaskinhandandgobeyondthecallofdutyinordertoachievekeyobjectives.
- Excellentorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytohandleandprioritizemultipleconcurrentprojectsandinitiatives.
- Outstandingverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,developingacultureofparticipationandinvolvement.
- Gatherfactsandfigures,monitorselfandothersandachievegoalsinatimelyandfactualmanner.
- Self-starter,mustaskquestionsandlearnnewskillsquicklyonthejob.
- Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors per applicable law.
The overall compensation range for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000. - Monthly commission.
