Medical Operations Education & Communication (MOEC), a function in US Medical (USM), focuses on broadening opportunities for patient access to our medicines by ensuring that health care stakeholders have the scientific evidence and the confidence in that evidence to make informed treatment decisions. MOEC has a pivotal role in bridging internal partner functions (including USM, Research, Product Development, Commercial, and Government Affairs) and collaborating across the dynamic health ecosystem to ultimately deliver better patient outcomes while making care more accessible and affordable for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy / Planning – Develop and drive U.S. content strategy, aligning with medical priorities and customer insights; collaborate cross‑functionally to refine the U.S. scientific narrative; serve as a clinical expert to understand the therapeutic landscape; lead research, analysis, and execution of evidence‑submission strategies to support patient access to medicines.
  • Orchestrate & Guide Business to Deliver Impactful Content – Lead strategic content and evidence submission, simplifying complex problems and prioritizing initiatives; manage agency partnerships and align therapeutic‑area initiatives; maintain accountability for quality, timeliness and budget; partner with stakeholders to break down silos and interpret legal and regulatory landscapes.
  • Medical Review – Provide medical review and input on development/use of scientific and promotional materials; manage review processes in partnership with medical partners, commercial, regulatory and legal; consistently operate with clinical integrity and highest professional ethics.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Advanced Clinical/Science Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.).
  • 7+ years of relevant industry or medical‑communications experience.
  • Significant experience with healthcare communications, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Proven collaboration, communication and influencing skills, with a track record of cross‑functional partnerships and achieving objectives.
  • Deep understanding of corporate legal and compliance, including GCP, OIG guidelines, U.S. regulatory/FDA requirements and drug‑access issues.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive project‑management experience.
Location and Travel Requirements

The position is located in South San Francisco, CA. Salary range: $182,100 – $338,300, plus discretionary annual bonus and company benefits.
