As a Security Officer - PT Mobile Patrol Driver in South San Francisco, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.
You will assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting, while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions; assist with visitor direction and/or tenant requests in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying site contacts, and/or requesting public emergency services when needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrol activities, incidents, and observations; communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
