Learn more:  As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security‑related incidents.

Pay Rate: $24.90 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating to property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate notable observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
• Assist with closing and opening routines such as checking doors, gates, stairwells, and common areas, and verifying that authorized individuals have appropriate access credentials.

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
