Overview
Neuralink is developing a bi-directional brain–computer interface to restore movement for the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and advance human interaction with digital systems. The Neurosurgical Robot Operator Team, within the Surgery & Robot Hardware Department, is responsible for the setup and operation of surgical robots under medical professional supervision. The team collaborates on cross-functional projects to enhance robotic surgical capabilities.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate surgical robots during surgeries and testing.
- Conduct tests for engineering teams and communicate with cross-functional experts to improve robot operation efficiency during surgery.
- Train surgeons, clinicians, and engineers to operate the robot for surgery and testing.
- Utilize GLP documentation and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for robot operation and validation.
- Communicate effectively while troubleshooting technical issues with robotics and surgical experts.
- Manage inventory of parts, fixtures, tooling, spare parts, and consumables.
- Apply 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform additional projects or duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of troubleshooting/testing experience, or equivalent.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Prior experience in robotics operation, maintenance, or related fields.
- Research or (pre) clinical experience in a medical or scientific setting.
- Solid understanding of engineering first principles.
Expected Compensation:
At Neuralink, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is within the range shown below. Your actual base pay will be determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
California Hourly Range: $24.52 - $40.87/Hr USD
