Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Logistics Specialist I
Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $30.43/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (100% Onsite)
The Associate Manufacturing Logistics Specialist I supports end-to-end product flow across hazardous materials, R&D materials, clinical drug product distribution, and inventory management operations. This role ensures compliant, accurate, and timely execution of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation activities in accordance with SOPs, regulatory standards, and quality requirements. This position is fully onsite due to the hands‑on nature of warehouse and logistics operations.
JobSpecifications
- Process hazardous materials, R&D materials, and product sample shipments
- Manage international shipments including documentation and compliant packaging
- Receive and dispense finished goods, WIP inventory, and packaging components
- Pick, pack, and ship clinical finished drug products domestically and internationally
- Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products for destruction
- Coordinate and schedule destruction activities with approved sites
- Maintain and update inventory control systems for drug products
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Maintain clean, safe, and compliant equipment and warehouse work areas
- Operate material‑handling equipment safely
- Access internal systems, databases, and RF scanners for accurate data entry
- File and store documentation per corporate retention policies
- Become proficient in applicable SOPs and perform duties with minimal supervision
- Recommend updates to SOPs when appropriate
- Participate in training new team members
- High school diploma required
- 0–5 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control concepts
- IATA certification and international shipping documentation experience preferred
- Ability to meet TSA requirements, including successful background check
- Ability to complete Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP)
- Experience operating warehouse material‑handling equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work occasional overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
