Material Handler
Join a dynamic team as a Material Handler where you will coordinate shipping and receiving functions at our facility. You will manage dock organization and handle issues related to shipping or inventory handling. Your role will include retaining and scanning documentation, scheduling pick-ups with vendors, and monitoring shipments in transit. Proficiency in data entry using Excel is essential.
Responsibilities- Coordinate shipping and receiving functions, including outbound and inbound calls.
- Manage dock organization and maintain shipping supplies.
- Address and resolve issues in shipping or inventory handling.
- Retain and scan documentation and communicate effectively with employees.
- Schedule vendor pick-ups and monitor shipments in transit.
- Perform data entry using Excel.
- 3-5 years of logistics and/or warehouse experience.
- Expertise in data entry, especially Excel data entry.
- Warehouse operations knowledge with an emphasis on cycle counts and inventory control.
- Ability to cross-function across various departments, including inventory and ERP systems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with ERP/WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Experience in high-volume inventory management.

Work EnvironmentWork in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values flexibility and team players. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Join a growing team, currently consisting of 1 manager and 4 team members, with plans to expand to a total of 9. Training sessions are planned to accommodate growth and ensure smooth onboarding.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
