This opportunity is with an established, family‑owned general contractor supporting a steady pipeline of occupied rehabilitation and ground‑up multifamily construction projects across the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping projects organized, compliant, and moving forward—partnering closely with Project Managers, trade partners, and internal teams throughout the full construction lifecycle. This role is well‑suited for someone who values structure, accountability, and supporting teams that deliver practical, high‑quality work in a lean, no‑frills operating environment.
ConstructionProject Coordinator Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative and project coordination support to multiple Project Managers across active construction projects.
- Manage project documentation, logs, and task tracking to ensure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
- Process contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and permits while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain submittal, closeout, and punch list tracking; follow up with trade partners to support timely completion.
- Serve as a communication hub between internal teams, trade partners, and clients to maintain alignment and resolve issues proactively.
- One or more years of experience supporting projects within commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor.
- Working knowledge of general contracting processes and the construction project lifecycle.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with construction‑related software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and related project management tools.
