Sanimax is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our South St Paul location. Starting pay is $35.00 Hour.

• Troubleshoot and repair of the Dupps, Haarslev and Alfa Laval equipment, including mechanical functions, mechanical drive units, plumbing architectures, AC and DC circuits, electrical sensors and switches, motor controls and VFD controllers' safety circuits (E-stops, safety relays and safety switches).
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems on the Dupps, Haarslev and Alfa Laval equipment.
• Program, upgrade, and troubleshoot Dupps, Haarslev and Alfa Laval equipment through their equipment-specific operation software.
• Evaluate equipment for repairs, enhancements, or upgrades and complete work as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the equipment and document completed work per company processes and procedures.
• Prepare equipment for production by rigging, leveling, testing and modifying as needed.
• Disassemble, repair, rebuild, assemble and install equipment components as required.
• Receive instructions and work autonomously to perform required maintenance.
• Coordinate multiple maintenance projects and prioritize accordingly.
• Comply with health and safety requirements by following lockout/tag-out procedures as required.
• Participate in daily maintenance department meetings.

• Must have 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic working on rendering and processing equipment manufactured by Dupps and Haarslev as well as on Alfa Laval heat transfer, separation and fluid handling equipment.
• Experience performing technical maintenance, including evaluating, troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work in challenging environments with exposure to high heat, cold, strong odors, and dust.
