Plant Operator 2nd shift

Position Overview

Sanimax is looking for a Production Operator to work the second shift at our South St. Paul facilities. Pay starts at $21.38 with a $0.75 per hour shift premium and a $1.00 per hour attendance premium. You will work Monday to Friday 2:00PM – 10:30PM with a stable schedule and 3% quarterly bonus. Full benefits include health, dental, vision, short/long‑term disability, and a matching 401(k) up to 5%.

• Load tankers and rail cars with finished product, perform mill checks, transfer and unload product, and collect inventory.
• Back and dump trailers into staging areas.
• Partner with the supervisor or maintenance to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate with the shift supervisor on cost‑saving ideas and recommendations related to plant operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ year experience working in a plant environment (preferred).
• Experience with forklift, skid steer, or other operating equipment is a plus.
• Ability to learn various tasks and computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Can work independently when needed while being a team player.

• Lifting 30–50 pounds comfortably on a regular basis.
• Walking/standing consistently throughout the shift.
• Climbing stairs and ladders.
• Working inside and outside as needed.
