Sanimax is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in our South St. Paul location. Schedule is Monday‑Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm.

Position PurposeThe Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company’s objectives.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties- Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
- Maintain a highly trained and motivated workforce
- Complete individual performance evaluations
- Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
- Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
- Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
- In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required
- Drives operational performance through initiative, coaching, training, delegation and accountability in addressing opportunities and problems.
- Looks for and implements improvement opportunities.
- Takes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
- Fosters open and consistent communication with own work team and other work groups including but not limited to Production Planner and support Team, Transportation, Procurement and Finished Goods Sales Team.
- Coaches and develops employees through constructive feedback and facilitation of professional growth.
- Fosters teamwork.
- Ability to take action and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- Preferred Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment.
