The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance to ensure Beacon homes remain safe, functional, and compliant. This position requires daily travel between residential locations using a company vehicle and plays a vital role in supporting both our teams and the individuals we serve.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and complete general repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and identify safety concerns.
- Complete carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs.
- Maintain exterior grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and minor landscaping.
- Coordinate specialized repairs with outside vendors when needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required (trade or technical certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
- Daily travel between Beacon locations using a company-provided vehicle.
