Aircraft Maintenance/ Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
A&P Mechanic 1st Shift
Our Aircraft Mechanics have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a first shift, Monday-Friday, climate controlled environment. The A & P Mechanic inspects, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components; maintains & repairs aircraft components; determines equipment malfunctions; interprets technical documentation; and restores equipment condition and/or operation.
Responsibilities- Ensure that all aircraft are airworthy.
- Perform annual aircraft inspections and document all areas needing maintenance.
- Perform repairs and maintenance, following workbook instructions, according to industry standards and to meet FAA regulations.
- Maintain and repair aircraft components; assemble and install flight controls, engines, pneumatics, fuel systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulics, mechanical components, and accessories.
- Repair and modify aircraft structures and structural components.
- Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions.
- Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
- Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, aircraft floats, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, gaskets, and seals.
- Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.
- Ensure all safety and regulatory related requirements are met.
- Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance as needed.
- Primarily work with Cessna Caravan aircraft.
- A&P license preferred and two to three years' experience minimum
- General aviation aircraft mechanic experience preferred.
- Ability to meet FAA regulatory and safety requirements in all aspects of the work.
- Must be able to use hand tools, including wrenches, hammers, power tools, and other tools used in testing aircraft and parts, and a computer, phone, and photocopier.
- Must have all required tools designated within 90 days of starting employment.
- Must comply with drug testing requirements in compliance with federal regulations.
- Must comply with FOD prevention plan.

- 2 plus years of aircraft maintenance experience

This is a Permanent position based out of South Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $98000.00/yr. Very clean shop, with a small crew. Lots of hands on training, and opportunity to move up. Good insurance, benefits. Pay range $28-46/hr potential for sign on or relocation.
