Ever wonder what goes into getting thousands of pieces of mail out the door, accurately and on time? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manual Insertion Clerk to join our team. This role involves folding documents, inserting them into envelopes, and preparing mailings for dispatch.

A Day in the Life of a Manual Insertion Clerk
  • Start your shift by reviewing detailed instructions to understand what needs to be packaged, how it needs to be packaged, how it needs to be labeled, and where it needs to be mailed.
  • Scan and verify documents into the system and cross‑reference each item with the work order to ensure everything matches perfectly.
  • Fold, stuff, and seal
    :
You manually fold documents, insert them into envelopes, glue or seal them shut, and organize them neatly for processing.
  • Sort mail into bins
    :
Each envelope is placed in a designated bin, and you double‑check that every bin tag aligns with the correct job order.
  • Weigh and confirm postage
    :
Once a bin is full, you use our digital system to weigh the mail and confirm the correct postage rate is applied based on the work order.
  • Label and prepare for shipment
    :
You apply shipping labels, ensure everything is in the right place, and move the full bins to the warehouse floor for final processing.
  • Send Off
    :
Mail is placed on a high‑speed conveyor belt where it’s boxed, wrapped, and labeled for shipment.
  • Complete your end‑of‑day checklist: Before clocking out, you wrap up your shift by completing a final checklist—verifying all tasks are done, your area is clean, and everything is ready for the next shift.
What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum of (1) experience working in a fast‑paced environment like fulfillment centers, warehouses, production lines, logistics operations, or similar field.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
