Managertojoinourteam.
Thisroleislocatedin South Windsor ,CT.
Wearelookingforanexperienced,self-motivated,highlyorganizedindividualtojointhe
Project
Managementteamtoprovideallfacetsofconstructionprojectsupport,includingsubmittalprocessing,material management,andbudgetanalysis.
- Coordinatewiththe Project Managementteamonengineeringandproceduralplans ,andsuggestprojectenhancements/valueengineeringopportunities
- Facilitatethechangeorderprocess,preparemonthlybudgetanalysis,and projections/costtocomplete
- ManageCPMbaselineandupdates
- ManageRFI’sand engineering-related inquiries
- Ensureallprojectmaterialsareapproved,deliveredandtrackedaccordingly
- Coordinatewiththefinancedepartmenttoprepare,reviewandevaluatemonthlycosts
- UpdateandmaintainthecompanyERPsystemwithallcurrentprojectinformationintheappropriateprograms
Qualifications:
- 5+yearsofrelevantexperience,ideallyinconstructionmanagementwithexperienceworkingonoverheadandundergroundelectricutilitydistributionandtransmissionsystems
- Bachelor’sdegreeinconstructionmanagement,Electricalor Mechanical Engineering preferred (orconsiderablerelevantTradeUnionexperience)
- ExperiencewithERPmanagementandimprovements
- Proficientintheuseof Microsoft Officeandstandardcomputerapplications
- Displayahighlevelofinitiative,effort,andcommitmenttowardscompletingassignmentsinatimelymanner
- Abilitytoidentifyproblems;determineaccuracyandrelevanceofinformation;usesoundjudgmenttogenerateandevaluatealternatives,andmakerecommendations
- Effectivecommunicationskills,interpersonalandorganizationalskills,andastrongworkethic
- Abilitytotravel
140-160k.
