Custodian

Job Title: Custodian I

Location: Philip R. Smith Elementary School, South Windsor, CT

Position Type: Full-time, Second Shift (3:00 p.m.

- 11:30 p.m.)

Pay Range: $22.08/hr

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderly environment of the elementary school throughout an 8‑hour shift.
• Select and use cleaning supplies and equipment appropriate to duties.
• Follow school policies and safety procedures for custodial tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure prompt completion.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned by school staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a strict work schedule.
