About The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to uphold quality standards.

Location:

South Windsor, CT

Onsite 5 days a week Monday – Friday 1 st shift

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
  • Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of quality systems to enhance overall product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in quality assurance manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM.
  • Experience with analysis software such as Calypso for data evaluation (can be learned over time).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
