Position OverviewWe are seeking a hard‑working Grow Span Commercial Greenhouse Sales Specialist who has great closing skills and the passion to exceed Grow Span's Greenhouse sales goals.
Primary ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the Commercial Greenhouse Sales Specialist will be to increase sales of Commercial Greenhouse Systems and Accessories. Sales opportunities will include, but not be limited to, Commercial Greenhouse Structures, Hydroponic & Aquaponic Growing Equipment, Fodder Systems, shade systems, and plant lighting equipment. In addition to direct sales, the Commercial Greenhouse Specialist will be expected to represent Grow Span at Industry Trade Shows.

- Fielding initial inquiries from prospective customers interested in purchasing and/or learning more about Commercial Greenhouse Systems and related equipment.
- Creating orders for Commercial Greenhouse Systems that include all necessary accessories.

Education and/or ExperienceMinimum of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent from four‑year college or 4 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Language Skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of Order Processing systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and the ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
CompensationHourly plus commission with the potential for bonuses based upon sales and unit volume.
