Broadridge is seeking an overnight Physical Security Console Operator to join our South Windsor, CT facility. In this role, you will monitor the Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) system, access control, security records, key control, /access badge issuance, site security, equipment dispatch, electronic inventory, and safety inspections.
Work Hours:
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Friday - Tuesday (on‑site). Shift may change based on coverage and department needs.
- Oversee the physical security of the site, protecting assets and personnel.
- Supervise and control personnel access into the facility.
- Monitor and report event alarms from the access control system and CCTV, /access badge issues, and the historical log book.
- Respond to, evaluate, and resolve event alarms received at the console monitoring station.
- Conduct roving patrol inspections of the Broadridge facilities (external and internal), notify the appropriate Broadridge authority of any issues, including procedural breaches in security policies.
- Keep the Security Management Team informed of all security matters and issues pertaining to the site; perform additional duties as directed.
- Be able to work 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday – Tuesday, with occasional overtime.
- Be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, with Security and Facility personnel.
- Vigilance and ability to report any security issues or incidents.
- Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy.
- Basic computer skills: typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Salary range $18.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.
