- Installing, diagnosing, and maintaining HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Designing, fabricating and installing various ducts and duct fittings as required.
- Receiving, verifying, and loading all equipment and materials needed for each job.
- Demonstrating and establishing effective working relationships with co-workers, superiors.
- Properly completing all paperwork required for each job.
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
- Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Performing all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remaining flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
- Representing Glasco in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
- CT HVAC License (S, D, or B license)
- Prior heating and/or cooling experience in a residential capacity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate with customers.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and pitch in as needed.
- Computer skills and use of electronic devices for scheduling, invoice creation and communication to staff and customers required.
- Must be able to work on a ladder.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years field experience and formal training, as well as EPA certification.
- Valid, clean driver’s license.
- Professional set of tools.
- Physical ability to perform all requirements associated with this position.
