Driver Assistant​/Delivery Helper; Independent Contractor

Immediate openings available for dependable Driver Assistants / Delivery Helpers to assist with daily local delivery routes alongside experienced drivers and local contractors.

John Doe Squad Kennels LLC is seeking motivated individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and ready to work in a fast-paced transportation environment.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position.

The Driver Assistant will help support local freight deliveries, loading and unloading cargo, route assistance, and delivery operations throughout Connecticut and surrounding areas.

• Assist driver with daily local delivery routes
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Help organize and secure cargo during transport
• Assist with liftgate deliveries when needed
• Maintain professionalism with customers and contractors
• Help complete delivery confirmations and paperwork
• Follow safety procedures at all delivery locations
• Communicate effectively throughout the route
• Deliveries include cabinets, doors and windows. May include second floor delivery.

• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from reporting location
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior moving, warehouse, delivery, or helper experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance

• Monday–Friday opportunities available
• Additional opportunities may become available based on workload
• 1099 Independent Contractor position
