To ensure the efficient and effective production of injection moulded products on the shift by effectively controlling all production resources utilized in order to achieve the production and quality targets set, while ensuring that SHEQ standards are maintained.
Mpact Plastic Containers is seeking a commercially astute, high-potential Key Accounts Sales Representative to manage and grow strategic customers within the Bottling, Environmental, Confectionary and Dairy (BECD) sector. This role goes beyond traditional sales. It is suited to a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, capable of interpreting customer P&Ls, forecasting demand, building long-term value propositions, and executing disciplined growth plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and grow strategic key accounts within the BECD market
- Develop account plans, demand forecasts, and margin-focused growth strategies
- Identify new commercial opportunities, including product innovation and sustainability solutions
- Translate customer needs into commercially viable packaging solutions
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and volume commitments
- Prepare and present business cases, forecasts, and performance reports
- Leverage CRM, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled sales tools to drive insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D
(NON-NEGOTIABLE)
BCom / Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Commercial discipline
5 years B2B sales experience within manufacturing/packaging / FMCG supply chains
Proven experience managing key accounts and strategic customers
Strong forecasting, pricing, and margin management capability
Willingness to travel extensively
Must own a vehicle
