Location: Turffontein

One of our clients, based in Vereeniging, is seeking a Costing & Pricing Administrator.

Maintain and Develop Administrative Costing & Selling Processes for the company, to achieve improved Buying processes and profits.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic
  • Strategic objectives of the company are understood and assist management in meeting them

  • Actively assist in the monitoring of and adherence to Company Policies
Communication
  • Effective and efficient communication skills
Work instructions
  • Actively assist immediate manager in writing and implementing Work Instructions in line with QMS
  • Examines records – Purchase Order pricing, Bill of Materials, to determine unit/item cost used in calculations
  • Compiles production or unit costs total basis for the different Departments & for the Sales Price List
  • Calculates individual items, material, and time costs, relationship of sales or revenues to cost, and overhead expenditures
  • Prepares reports showing total cost, selling prices, or rates profits Job Costing
  • Processing of documentation
  • Improve on the ERP Costing System through development with our software Company
Reporting
  • Preparation and submission of departmental reports to assist Manager
  • Summary of reports as per Management requirement
  • Develop reports with the software Company to improve buying, costing & methods
Human resources
  • Aware of the importance and processes of setting, implementing and running staff KPI’s
  • Focus on Staff Objectives at all levels within the organisation
  • Assist in managing subordinates including Duties to be performed, Punctuality, and Interpersonal conflict
