SUMMARY
Senior Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding - Johannesburg
POSITION INFOThe main purpose of the role:
To recruit, lead, grow and develop a high-performance staff for both the new business and retention teams. The priority objective is to grow the Gauteng Branch by achieving new business and retention growth targets.
- Matric
- Sales / Marketing / Supply Chain or Management Qualification (Advantageous) or years of work experience equivalent
- 10 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding
- 7 years of Client Facing Experience in either new business, trade lane or client retention.
- Must have reliable transport to and from work
- Must have a valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally when required
- Cargo Wise One
- Office 365 (Teams, One Note, Forms), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
