GUIDE TRAINER.This exciting opportunity is ideal for a knowledgeable and engaging professional who is committed to developing world-class guides, promoting a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
The successful candidate will lead guide training, coaching and competency assessments while enhancing guiding excellence, wildlife interpretation, hospitality standards, firearm proficiency and overall professional development across the Guiding Department.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:- Game Drive Assessments & Coaching
- Hospitality & Guest Experience Training
- Guide Assessments, Qualifications & Professional Development
- NQF 4 minimum with Substantial Training
- Valid First Aid Level 2 (or higher).
- Valid PFTC Firearm Competency and Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) certification.
- Minimum 7 years' guiding experience within a luxury safari environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience coaching, mentoring or training guides.
- Proven experience conducting guide assessments.
- Excellent knowledge of South African wildlife, ecology and conservation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
