TV Host – Travelogue (International HR Manager @ CGTN | Global Talent Acquisition)

CGTN City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa — Travelogue of CGTN Culture is seeking an experienced TV host to join our growing team of dedicated, passionate and outgoing personalities in Beijing, China. This position is based in Beijing and open to foreign passport holders only.

About the job

The ideal candidate should have prior experience hosting culture‑related programs on screen, and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. If you see yourself as an optimistic, energetic, creative and charismatic person who is culturally curious and ready to grow personally and professionally, we want to hear from you! You should also be a natural team player, have a strong interest in travel, Chinese ancient and pop culture, and the ability to observe and comment from a global perspective.

Writing high‑quality scripts in English at a native level, paired with your personal tone of voice and a willingness to travel frequently within China is what makes you an ideal candidate for the TV host position on our flagship travel programme “Travelogue”.

Responsibilities

• Host outdoor TV programmes on Travelogue.
• Write and edit scripts and dub videos on a native English language level.
• Coordinate with directors and editors across different departments, leveraging strong communication skills.
• Pitch creative ideas related to travel and culture to our team.
• Utilise social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to promote content.

Qualifications

• BA degree or above; preferably in Media Communications.
• Fluency in Chinese (listening and speaking) is essential.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a creative field (preferably Media/Marketing and/or agency background) and experience in hosting and/or reporting on camera.
• Natural team‑player.
