Supply Chain Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive cost optimisation initiatives, manage working capital performance, and ensure strong financial controls across a complex operational environment.

• Lead the finance function supporting supply chain and operational activities.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and expense analysis.
• Oversee stock management, goods-in-transit reporting, inventory controls, and warehouse‑related financial processes.
• Manage purchase order controls and financial transactions within ERP systems.
• Monitor demurrage costs, port expenses, GRNI balances, and supply chain‑related costs.
• Take ownership of balance sheet integrity, profit and loss reporting, and technical accounting matters.
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to support business decision‑making.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and business plans to support operational and investment decisions.
• Monitor working capital performance and identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve operational performance.
• Support physical stock counts, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Identify key operational and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and operational teams to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly management reporting.

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 6–10 years' experience within a finance function in a manufacturing, mining, pharmaceutical, or similar operational environment.
• Minimum 3 years' management experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain finance, inventory management, and operational finance.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
