Join Our Team as an Accounts Payable Administrator at Rohloff Group!
Are you a visionary team player? We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic team at Rohloff Group. You will play a key role in providing both administrative and operational support to the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding work orders, quote approvals, supplier queries, foreign payments, and payment‑related administration to support smooth financial operations.
This position is integral to driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the accounts payable function, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.
What You'll Be Cooking Up- Follow up on outstanding work orders, quote approvals, and invoice queries.
- Maintain and update AP tracking sheets, schedules, and records.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
- Support monthly reconciliation preparation and follow‑ups.
- Provide general AP administrative support during high‑volume periods.
- Support the AP team with ad‑hoc administration and operational requirements.
- Load and track foreign payments on banking platforms.
- Maintain forex payment schedules and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with banking and SARS requirements.
- Monitor and verify supporting documents, including BOP classifications and APN requirements.
- Maintain complete and audit‑ready records for all forex transactions.
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification advantageous (e.g. AAT, CIMA, SAICA articles).
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
- Strong accounts payable and reconciliation knowledge.
- Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of foreign payments and exchange control requirements advantageous.
