Join Our Team as a Stock Analyst at KFC Rohloff Group!
Are you passionate about using data to drive smarter inventory decisions? We're looking for a Stock Analyst to join our dynamic Team at KFC Rohloff Group. Play a key role in monitoring, analysing, and optimising inventory performance across the business. You'll provide data-driven insights that support demand planning, improve working capital efficiency, and ensure optimal stock availability, contributing to greater operational efficiency and overall business profitability.
What You’ll Be Cooking Up:Inventory Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze stock movements, aging, and turnover ratios.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess stock.
- Prepare weekly and monthly stock performance reports.
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Demand & Supply Alignment:
- Support forecasting processes using historical and trend data.
- Highlight risks of stock-outs or overstocking.
- Work closely with procurement and operations teams to optimize replenishment.
Working Capital Optimization:
- Track inventory days (DOH) and stock holding values.
- Identify opportunities to reduce excess stock and improve cash flow.
- Provide recommendations to improve stock efficiency.
Variance & Reconciliation Analysis:
- Investigate stock variances between physical and system inventory.
- Support stock counts and cycle count processes.
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Data Management & Systems:
- Maintain accurate stock master data (SKUs, categories, lead times).
- Extract and analyse data from ERP systems (e.g. Business Central).
- Build dashboards and automate reporting where possible.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and procurement teams.
- Present insights and recommendations to management.
- Support decision-making with clear data-driven analysis.
- 3+ years in business or financial analysis. Experience in FMCG, retail, or internal audit is a plus. Exposure to FP&A, scenario modeling, and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Statistics or related field. Certification in Business and System Analysis is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics
- Understanding of financial systems and financial impact (margin, cash flow, working capital)
- Experience with predictive analytics / demand forecasting models
- Data analysis, visualization, and reporting
- SOP development and risk management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- High attention to detail with a results-driven mindset
- Commercial awareness and sound business judgment
- Creative, innovative and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across all organization levels
