Reservationist – Luxury Country House – Hazyview

Salary: R6,500 – R8,500 DOE | Live-out

Hours:

08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday (half day) per month

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reservationist to join a luxury country house in Hazyview. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, guest-focused professional with a minimum of three years’ experience in hotel or lodge reservations, who can manage online bookings, channels, and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Scope & Purpose

• Manage online bookings and channel management across all platforms

• Assist with Assistant Reservations Manager duties as required

Key Responsibilities

Online Bookings & Channel Management

• Manage online bookings on all current and future channels, including Booking, Expedia, Agoda, Travel Ground, Afri Stay, and Wetu

• Maintain and update channel content, including descriptions, photos, room types, facilities, and occupancy

• Monitor rate parities and load rates on Site Minder and

• Manage OXI interface to ensure bookings are correctly processed

• Liaise with channel managers and maintain positive relationships

Guest Communication & Administration

• Respond to internal and guest communications promptly

• Apply and retract specials according to occupancy

• Process bookings, payments, and follow-ups seven days out

• Issue tax invoices and assist with debtor management

• Assist with week/month-end reporting and online statistics

Operational Support

• Assist with site inspections in the absence of Hotel/Duty Managers

• Support weekly planners, correspondence checks, and arrival procedures

• Provide assistance with general reservations duties as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum three years’ reservations experience within a hotel or lodge environment

• Strong computer literacy and experience with reservation and channel management systems

• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and professionalism

• Strong communication skills and guest-focused approach

Package Includes

• Live-out position based in Hazyview

• Salary R6,500 – R8,500 DOE
