Duty Manager – Luxury Safari Lodge – North West

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Duty Manager for a luxury safari lodge based in the North West. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a remote lodge environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Minimum Experience and Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury lodge or five-star hospitality environment

• Strong front-of-house and operational knowledge

• Excellent guest relations and problem-solving skills

• Confident leadership ability with a hands-on management style

• Computer literacy and experience with hotel management systems

• Strong organisational and administrative skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure

• Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally and efficiently

• Maintain exceptional service standards across all departments

Operational Oversight

• Oversee daily lodge operations to ensure smooth service delivery

• Coordinate closely with housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and guiding teams

• Ensure all areas of the lodge are maintained to luxury standards

Team Leadership

• Support, guide and motivate the front-of-house and operational teams

• Assist with staff training and performance management

• Lead by example to maintain high morale and service excellence

Administration & Reporting

• Manage daily reports, guest feedback and operational checklists

• Assist with stock control and general lodge administration

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company standards
