Reservations Planner

Key Qualifications

• Strong background in hospitality and proven experience as a Reservations Planner or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of reservation systems such as Nights Bridge, Semper, Res Request, Eezee, Room Racoon, Opera, Protel, HMS, HTI, and Apex.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to organise and multitask.
• Coolness under pressure and a stickler for deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing reservations.
• Leadership qualities to motivate and mentor your team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

• Managing reservation processes, including bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
• Using reservation management software to optimise occupancy and revenue.
• Monitoring reservation trends and adjusting strategies to maximise profitability.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional strategies.
• Resolving customer complaints and queries promptly to ensure exceptional service.
• Preparing reports on reservation statistics and revenue forecasts.
• Working closely with front office, housekeeping, and sales teams.
• Staying updated on industry trends to make informed decisions.
• Implementing and maintaining reservation policies.
