F & B Manager

Location: Mbombela

A well established 4 Star Resort in the Nelspruit region is seeking an experienced and hands on Food & Beverage Manager to lead all Food & Beverage operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all restaurants, bars, banqueting, and conferencing operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, sound financial performance, and efficient day to day management of the department. This opportunity is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record within a 4 Star or 5 Star hotel or resort environment.

REQUIREMENT:

• RSA  legal residence essential
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within a 4 Star or 5 Star hotel or resort
• Minimum 10 years' experience within the hospitality industry preferred
• Valid Driver's License essential
• Hospitality qualification advantageous
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, stock management, and forecasting
• Banqueting and conferencing experience essential
• Excellent leadership and staff development skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and hospitality legislation
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience with POS and PMS systems advantageous
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem solving skills
• Hands on, guest focused, and service driven

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all Food & Beverage outlets and daily operations
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate the Food & Beverage team
• Ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
• Oversee stock control, purchasing, and inventory management
• Monitor departmental budgets, costs, and profitability
• Coordinate banqueting, conferencing, and special events
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Prepare operational reports and implement continuous improvements
• Work closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial objectives
• Maintain the highest hospitality and service standards throughout the resort

PACKAGE:

• R20,000 per month (DOE)
• Live in accommodation provided
