Requirements
- Valid driver's licence – Essential.
- Valid First Aid Level 1 – Preferred.
- Minimum 1 year's previous experience in a similar Duty Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager, Supervisor or hospitality management role.
- Previous lodge or safari lodge experience will be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer literacy and basic administration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to handle pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Ability to confidently and respectfully manage staff.

The lodge operates with a very small team
, meaning employees work in close quarters and rely heavily on one another.

The Duty Manager must be able to discern between work and personal matters
, communicate professionally and handle staff-related situations maturely.

Career DevelopmentThe Duty Manager will work closely with and support the Lodge Manager and Assistant Lodge Manager
