Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join a luxury lodge in Hluhluwe. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and creative chef with a strong background in luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality, excellent culinary skills and a passion for delivering consistently high-quality dining experiences.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a luxury lodge, hotel or 5-star environment
Relevant culinary qualification
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations
Excellent understanding of food hygiene and health and safety standards
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Passionate about quality, creativity and exceptional guest experiences
Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment
