Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and professional Hospitality Guest Relations Specialist to join our team in the beautiful coastal town of Knysna. This role is critical to our guest experience strategy, acting as the primary point of contact for high-profile guests and ensuring that every aspect of their stay is seamless and memorable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest inquiries, resolving complex issues, and coordinating with various departments to maintain our high service standards.

The specialist will play a key role in enhancing guest loyalty by providing personalized attention and anticipating needs before they are even expressed. You will be the face of the hotel, representing our brand values in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the end-to-end guest experience from pre-arrival to post-departure.
- Act as the primary liaison for VIP guests to ensure all specific requirements are met.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Concierge departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with empathy and efficiency, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future stays and enhance loyalty.
- Monitor online reviews and guest satisfaction metrics to identify areas for service improvement.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of cultural intelligence and awareness of international hospitality standards.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in Guest Relations or Luxury Service Standards are highly advantageous.
