Assistant Hotel Manager

The Assistant Hotel Manager supports the Hotel Manager in enhancing operational efficiency, service quality and effective people management across the Hotel. The ideal candidate is solutions-driven, efficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional service and operational standards.

• Support the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, policies and procedures across Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B.
• Lead, motivate and develop the hotel team through effective people management, training and performance management.
• Monitor guest feedback, preferences and complaints to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee staffing, rosters, attendance and operational costs.
• Monitor stock, equipment, suppliers and inventory to ensure operational efficiency and minimise waste.
• Assist with budgeting, financial controls and reconciliation procedures.
• Oversee Night Audit procedures and ensure accurate daily financial reporting.
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are consistently maintained and implemented.
• Identify and implement opportunities for operational and service improvement

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or Tourism would be beneficial.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.

• 5+ years’ hotel management or hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Excellent guest service and complaint-handling ability.
• Strong operational and financial acumen.
