Front of House & Relief Receptionist – Thornybush Game Lodge About this role

As our Front of House & Relief Receptionist, you will be responsible for working with the Lodge Managers and the Front of House team to ensure a world class guest experience.

What you will do

Guest check-ins and check-outs
Guest orientation
Room checks
Assisting in the Curio store
Hosting duties
Performing reception and administrative duties
Daily and month-end finance related duties
Assisting with deliveries, invoicing and stocktaking
Providing timeous support and communicating with other departments
Ad hoc duties as required

What we are looking for Requirements

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in Front of House (or a similar guest facing role)
Experience in a high-end luxury safari lodge (5
* lodge experience is preferred)
Grade 12 | Matric (completed)
Relevant hospitality qualification (advantageous)
Proficient in the English language
Driver’s license
Clear criminal record

Technical Skills

Excellent command of the English language
Computer literate
Basic accounting and/or bookkeeping skills
Finance systems experience
Reservation systems experience (Travelyst is preferable)
