Hotel Duty Manager

About the Role

Our client is searching for a responsible and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to oversee operations at their hotel in Klerksdorp . In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for all hotel departments during your shift, ensuring smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and prompt resolution of any issues. You will lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and operational knowledge, and contribute to the overall guest experience.

This position is vital for maintaining the hotel's reputation for quality and service in the North West province.

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations across all hotel departments during the assigned shift.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are met and exceeded.
• Manage and resolve guest complaints and issues efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee staff performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to ensure standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation are maintained.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and decisively according to hotel policy.

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar supervisory role within the hotel industry.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and F&B.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
