Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Lodge Management Couple on behalf of a prestigious luxury safari lodge in St Lucia, Kwa Zulu-Natal.

Salary: R35,000 – R50,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience

• Assist with the overall day-to-day management and operations of the lodge
• Work closely with senior management to ensure smooth and efficient lodge operations
• Maintain exceptional standards of guest service and hospitality
• Oversee and support lodge staff across various operational areas
• Assist with staff training, supervision and performance management
• Build strong relationships with guests and ensure a personalized guest experience
• Assist with administrative, stock control and operational procedures
• Ensure the lodge consistently maintains its luxury standards
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive and professional team environment
• Take responsibility for lodge operations when required

• Previous experience in lodge management, assistant lodge management or a similar senior hospitality role
• Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge or high‑end hospitality environment
• Strong operational and leadership skills
• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
• A professional, hands‑on and service‑focused approach
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse lodge team
• High level of attention to detail
• Passion for luxury hospitality and exceptional guest experiences

Both candidates should be comfortable working and living in a remote lodge environment.

Relevant hospitality qualifications would be advantageous
