About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and friendly Reservations Agent to manage bookings and inquiries for their properties in Benoni . This role is fundamental to ensuring guests have a seamless booking experience, from their initial contact to confirmation. You will be responsible for managing reservations across various channels, providing information about services, and ensuring all booking details are accurate. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and enjoys assisting travelers in the bustling Gauteng region.

• Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
• Accurately enter and manage guest reservations in the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
• Provide information on room availability, rates, amenities, and local attractions.
• Process payments and cancellations according to hotel policy.
• Upsell additional services and packages to enhance the guest booking experience.
• Coordinate with the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

• Previous experience in reservations, front desk, or a customer service role within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in using PMS software and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
