Minimum Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric).

Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or Guest Services is advantageous.

Butler training or luxury service certification is beneficial.

Minimum 23 years' experience as a Butler, Guest Relations Officer, or Front Office professional in a luxury hotel, boutique hotel, private residence, or lodge.

Experience working with high-profile or VIP guests is highly advantageous.

Previous experience in five-star hospitality is preferred.

Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills.

Strong understanding of luxury service standards and etiquette.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional grooming and presentation.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver proactive service.

Knowledge of food and beverage service, wine service, and fine dining etiquette.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (Opera experience is advantageous).

Excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Valid driver's licence is advantageous.

Full-time, live‑out position based in Hout Bay, Western Cape.

Requires flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
