Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead a prestigious luxury safari lodge in the Thabazimbi area of Limpopo. • Oversee the overall day-to-day operation of the lodge.
• Lead, motivate and support the lodge team to deliver consistently high service standards.
• Ensure a warm, personalised and memorable guest experience.
• Maintain excellent standards across all operational and guest-facing departments.
• Manage staff performance, training and development.
• Oversee budgets, expenditure and operational cost controls.
• Monitor lodge performance and contribute to overall financial results.
• Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the property, facilities and guest areas are maintained to luxury standards.
• Handle guest feedback and operational challenges professionally and efficiently.
• Promote a positive team culture and lead by example.

• Proven experience in a senior lodge management or hospitality management role.
• Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong operational and people-management skills.
• Excellent guest relations and communication ability.
• Sound financial and administrative understanding.
• Confident managing budgets, costs and operational performance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on management style.
• Professional, confident and well presented.
• Able to remain calm and solutions-focused in a busy operational environment.
• Comfortable living and working in a remote lodge environment.
